Dog and litter bin emptying contract

Award Criteria

Any contract(s) awarded as a result of this procurement will be awarded on the basis of the offer that is most advantageous to the Council. The Award Criteria are: • 60% Quality - Supplier technical submissions • 40% Cost - Pricing document completed and submitted by the supplier to include payment terms. The three (3) tenderers achieving the highest scores following evaluation will be shortlisted to attend an interview. An agenda for the interview will be provided with the invitation to attend. Scores awarded for quality during the evaluation process may be adjusted to take account of the responses provided by the selected tenderers at interview. A preferred tenderer will be determined from the quality and cost scoring awarded through the evaluation process, taking account of any adjustments made following interviews.

Description

West Bletchley Council is responsible for the emptying of 76 dog bins and 94 litter bins and wishes to enter into a 3-year contract to enable it to continue to deliver this service. • 76 dog bins (twice per week (Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday)). • 94 litter bins (once per week, same day each week) The overall budget for this Tender is £192,000 (£64,000 per annum).
