The Sailsbury Square Development campus has a requirement for a Landlord / IOT network that building services such as cameras and lifts will reside. This network requirement was not captured in the earlier phases of the building programme and the requirement has been brought into scope for the Future Police Estates. As part of the handover from the construction company (Mace) there will be 86 unmanaged Phoenix switches. As such as specialist supplier is required to adopt these switches to enable Mace to commission services. Post-Practical Completion the chosen supplier will also be responsible for ongoing support, managed service, maintenance and ongoing security patching for this network. The decision to use Phoenix switches was taken by Mace as part of the construction contract. Consequently there is only one supplier who meets all of the requirements. The contract has an overall duration of 12 months.
