Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council (the Authorities) are undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to inform the future procurement of Responsive Repairs, Maintenance and Associated Building Works Services across the Authorities' corporate estate portfolios. The future contract may include: • Responsive repairs and maintenance. • Emergency and out-of-hours call-out services. • Mechanical and electrical works. • Roofing, drainage and building fabric repairs. • Planned maintenance activities. • Minor works projects. • Building improvement works. • Capital projects. • One-off ad hoc building works. • Specialist repair services. The Authorities wish to engage with the market to better understand supplier capability, capacity, contract structuring options, pricing models and opportunities for innovation that may improve service delivery, value for money and market participation. The PME is intended to support the development of a future procurement strategy under the Procurement Act 2023 and ensure that any future procurement is proportionate, commercially attractive and accessible to both SMEs and larger regional or national providers.
