Severn Trent Water are looking for partners to develop a fast and safe to install base slab reinforcement for a range of liquid storage tanks. These tanks can be either rectangular or circular and are to be constructed from Severn Trent designed modular pre-cast concrete panels which are much quicker to install than traditional offerings. The design of the base slab reinforcements should focus on creating a small catalogue of optimised repeatable units that can be deployed to any size of tank without major modification to the design philosophy.
