Detailed award criteria and weightings will be provided to shortlisted tenderers within the Invitation to Tender documentation.
Orbital South Colleges is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably experienced contractors for the proposed Ground Floor Conversion and Remodelling Project at East Surrey College, Gatton Point North Campus, Redhill. The project comprises the conversion and remodelling of existing ground floor accommodation to create a new Client Services area, classroom spaces, hot-desking and flexible working areas, together with associated circulation routes. The anticipated works include: • Internal conversion and remodelling works; • Partitioning, finishes and associated builders' works; • Electrical installations and data infrastructure works; • Access control installations; • Mechanical ventilation works, including MVHR provision; • Associated service alterations and coordination with existing building services; • Making good and associated refurbishment works. The College intends to undertake a two-stage procurement process. Stage 1 will comprise this Expression of Interest (EOI) and contractor shortlisting exercise. Contractors will be assessed on relevant experience, capability, resources, programme capacity, insurance compliance and references. Following evaluation of EOI submissions, a shortlist of contractors will be invited to participate in the formal Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage. This notice relates to the EOI and shortlisting stage only. No pricing submissions are required at this stage.
