IMPORTANT - Please note that this notice is published only for technical compliance reasons and does not link to or reference a live tender opportunity. Due to a technial problem, the original UK4 Notice that GMCA was obliged to publish in relation to this contract failed to publish, with a andvertisment published on an alternative platform only. Therefore, in light of our obligation to co-operate with the Minister for the Cabinet Office to ensure the notice is subsequently published, details are presented here. The Greater Manchester Strategy outlines how we will make every effort to ensure that all our people are supported to live a good life, through all ages and stages in their lives. This includes a commitment to supporting our children and young people to be good learners, with any necessary family help, education recovery, wrap-around provision and health and wellbeing needs being met. As outlined within the VRU Greater Than Violence Strategy our ambition is to ensure that families and communities that are affected by serious violence are effectively supported through our place-based offer, recognising the significant impact that violence of any kind can have on the lives of families. The Provider must ensure the Service: • Supports young victims of violence • Prioritises victims' interests • Maintains confidentiality (except for safeguarding) • Treats all individuals equally • Is accessible regardless of police involvement • Applies a gendered service approach • Advocates for victims' rights and assists authorities • Adapts to each victim's needs GMCA expects the Service to engage vulnerable young people (ages 10-25) presenting at A&E with violence-related injuries or through community referrals. Engagement should be face-to-face where possible but may occur by phone if necessary. While many young people attend A&E for reasons unrelated to violence, Navigators and clinical staff use professional judgement to identify those at risk who might benefit from the Service
