The Heathrow Infrastructure Project (HIP) consists of 3 smaller projects - Harmondsworth Office, Harmondsworth Switchgear and Colnbrook Switchgear. Harmondsworth Office consists of the following: To undertake a fit-out of the Harmondsworth IRC Office Accommodation to create an open-plan office space with increased desk capacity to meet the operational requirements of the HO. Wates will be required to produce a developed design proposal which captures the HO's requirements. The proposed 2nd floor shall contain: - 1nr 14-person meeting room/ boardroom - 1nr prayer room - 1nr wellbeing/ recovery area - 78nr task desks in the open plan office - 5nr breakout areas (1nr privacy setting and 4nr 2-person condo huts) - 1nr accessible toilet and 4nr gender-neutral toilets - A new printer hub with storage spaces - A newly refurbished refreshment hub and seating area for up to 13nr people Harmondsworth Switchgear consists of the following: The works comprise the upgrade of electrical infrastructure at Harmondsworth IRC. This intent of the works is to increase the electrical resilience of the establishment and provide opportunities for future expansion. Upgrading the resilience of the electrical infrastructure at Harmondsworth IRC through the provision of a permanent back-up generator plus HV transformer replacement. The site must stay operational throughout the project through isolating the works. In summary, the contracted works shall include: - Removal of the existing transformer 1 and associated HV breaker. - Provision of a new 1600kVA transformer and associated HV breaker. - Provision of a new 1250kVA fixed generator complete with enclosure and 12-hour day tank within the new generator enclosure. - Replacing the existing generator control panel with a control panel complete with a changeover switch that accepts 2No. generator connections, one for the existing fixed generator and one for the new fixed generator. Location to be within the new fixed generator enclosure and modifications required to main LV Panel. - Hard wiring the 2No. generators to the new control panel and this control panel back to the main LV switchboard existing changeover. - Modifications to existing fence lines to include new generator compound. Colnbrook Switchgear consists of the following: The upgrade of electrical infrastructure at Colnbrook IRC. This intent of the works is to increase the electrical resilience of the establishment and provide opportunities for future expansion.
