Oldham's Best Start Family Hubs approach is now a central part of how the borough supports children, young people and families. The model is designed to bridge long standing barriers and strengthen opportunities, responding to the gaps identified across Oldham's system: families still need support that is timely, accessible and close to home; commissioned services must deliver greater value; and families want advice from trusted professionals who understand their strengths, culture and lived realities.
