This is a direct award under the ESPO Framework 3A_24 (Advertising Solutions), Lot 2 - Public Notices Advertising. The initial contract term is three years, with one optional extension of twelve months. The Council has an ongoing requirement for the co-ordination of advert placement for Statutory Notices and general advertising requirements. The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 Sections 7 and 17 and The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 Section 3 require all Traffic Authorities to advertise two notices in the local press for each traffic order made, one prior to making the order and another after making the order. This informs residents about any restrictions that are going to take place on the highway or rights of way routes, either temporary or permanent.
