Tenders are invited by the Council from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Day Opportunities (the "Services"). The Council is seeking to appoint a Service Provider who is able to meet appropriate specifications and requirements as set out in the tender documents and provide a high quality service. The Service Provider will provide an age appropriate choice of structured premises based and community based activities to all Service Users in accordance with their preference and interests, that meets their assessed care and support needs. Provide varied activities both indoors and outdoors which are reviewed and altered on a regular basis in consultation with Service Users. There are 5 Lots available, each with a maximum budget per year. - North Kirklees Rural Crafts (122 places per week) - North Kirklees Branches Services (81 places per week) - South Kirklees Waverley Hall Day Opportunities (180 places per week) - South Kirklees Horticultural (90 places per week) - South Kirklees Crafts (135 places per week) Please see the service specification for further details. It is anticipated that the new services will be located within reasonable proximity of the current centres. The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is approximately £2,816,765.02 (exclusive of Value Added Tax). The anticipated commencement date for the Contract(s) is 1st July 2026. The anticipated expiry date for the Contract is 30th June 2027 with the option to extend by two (2) periods of three (3) months each. Further details regarding the Services required are set out in the Specification and in the Conditions of Contract.
Rural Crafts - Community/Premises based service for 122 people per week aged 18 years of age and above based on an annual budget of £398,934.06
Branches Service - Community/Premises based service for 81 people per week aged 40 years of age and above based on an annual budget of £275,495.04
Waverly Hall (Community/Premises) based service 180 people per week aged 18 years of age and above based on an annual budget of £546,711.23
Horticulture - Community/Premises based service 90 people per week aged 18 years of age and above based on an annual budget of £262,681.21
Craft - Community/Premises based service 135 people per week aged 18 years of age and above based on an annual budget of £394021.81
