Lot 1 (Class 810 storage) was discontinued and published on 5 September 2025 no award was made for this Lot. Lot 2 (Class 222 storage) has now also been discontinued. This corrigendum should be read alongside the corrigendum published on 29/03/2023 concerning amendments to Lot 2. No award will be made for this lot 2 following operational review, in accordance with Regulation 66 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. Please note: The contracting entity previously referred to as Abellio East Midlands Limited is now Transport UK East Midlands Limited. The legal entity (company number) 09860485 remains the same.
The contract is for the storage of up to 17, 5 car Class 810 vehicles prior to entry into service. As the vehicles enter into service the storage will then be required for a 5/7 car Class 222 vehicle to support the fleet cascade plan as they exit operational services. Split into 2 lots, Lot 1 warm storage of Class 810 Vehicles, Lot 2 is for cold storage of Class 222 Vehicles.
