Health and Social Care Moray (HSCM) seeks to commission a provider to deliver a comprehensive Unpaid Carer Support Service for both Adult Carers (18+) and Young Carers (under 18, or 18+ and still in education). Unpaid carers play a vital role across Moray, with an estimated 16,200 individuals providing care to someone who could not manage without their support. Providers must demonstrate the knowledge, expertise, and values required to deliver a high quality, person centred service and outcomes-focussed service. This contract comprises of two lots; providers may apply for either one or both lots. Lot 1 – Support for Adult Carers - Supporting adult carers aged 18+, including parent carers, working carers, older carers, and those caring for people with complex or fluctuating needs. Lot 2 – Support for Young Carers - Supporting young carers under 18, or aged 18+ still in school, ensuring they receive age-appropriate support and have a life comparable to peers. Additional information: Optional extension: up to 2 years (to 31/12/2030) Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
