The Fund is seeking to procure a parliamentary and political monitoring service for its External Affairs team and other colleagues working across the Fund as relevant. The Fund is a UK-wide organisation that delivers funding through five main portfolios: UK-wide, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. With a diverse range of relevant subject areas, monitoring services are integral to the function of the External Affairs team and the Fund as a whole. This service will support team members in gathering intelligence as well as monitoring debates and parliamentary (or devolved equivalent) activity. It will also provide up-to-date contact information for politicians, civil servants and other key external stakeholders. The Fund requires monitoring services to support day-to-day policy and public affairs activity for a wide range of themes that are relevant to the work of the Fund. The above should include all Westminster MPs and Peers, members of the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Parliament/Senedd, Northern Ireland Assembly; city and metro mayors and combined authorities (including London Assembly); UK and devolved government departments and statutory bodies (e.g. National Audit Office, National Office of Statistics, Charity Commission). Further organisations and individuals for which monitoring could be useful include other distributors of National Lottery funding; think tanks; voluntary and charitable sector leaders/organisations.
