NCC is awarding a contract commencing 05/07/2026 for a 24 month period, with further options to extend of 12 months + 12 months for the provision of an Electronic Personal Education Plan (EPEP) Software as a Solution contract. A Personal Education Plan (PEP) is a statutory, living document designed to ensure that children in care achieve their full educational potential. It is part of the care plan, monitors progress, set targets, and provides support. It is NCC's intention to put into place a replacement contract for the provision of an Electronic Personal Education Plan (EPEP) Solution. This contract will enable the Virtual school to collect information needed to promote the educational outcome of each child who is on the Virtual School roll. This will include detail on attainment, progress, attendance, engagement with learning, behaviour, broader child development, the child's views and long-term aspirations. An electronic PEP provides a system by which the capacity of the Virtual School is enhanced by using secure web-based systems when compared with a "paper based" approach which operates on the exchange of word documents via email. The electronic PEP provides superior analytical tools, record keeping and case management capabilities.
