This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The contract provides additional short-term elective outpatient capacity to support waiting list reduction for Whittington Hospital NHS Trust patients. The services are limited to outpatient activity only and exclude surgical procedures. Services include outpatient pathways in general surgery, pain management and ENT. The contract is limited to a one-month term. The scope and duration of this arrangement have been limited to the minimum necessary to address the immediate requirement. Additional information: This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
