Liverpool City Council is looking to commission a qualified and experienced organisation to deliver a range of Preventative Mental Health Services. We're excited to be transforming our approach in this area, with a focus on strength-based reablement, improved efficiency and effectiveness, and better outcomes for service users, while also helping to reduce demand on statutory services.\r The service will support adults who experience mild to moderate symptoms attributed to poor mental health or common mental health problems (CMHP) with the aim of preventing reducing and delaying the need for adults to access acute / crisis mental health services.\r \r \r Key features of the Lead Provider Mental Health Prevention Services are specified to include: \r • Single Point of Referral / No Wrong Door.\r • Neighbourhood-based services.\r • Scaled up interventions 'that work' e.g. Peer Mentoring that can flex over the course of the contract.\r • Scaled up volunteering, education and training opportunities and pathways out of services.\r • Menu of interventions, autonomy, choice and control to service users based on individual assessment.\r • Monitoring and Outcome evaluation improvement.\r \r The aim is for the lead provider to work with delivery partners to deliver a streamlined, responsive and equitable mental health prevention service, which will develop and maintain a comprehensive timetable or menu of interventions, incorporating a broad range of preventative services, strongly based on co-production with service users.
