This procurement covers the overhaul of the Jumper system on the London Underground Metropolitan line trains, required to renew the jumper system compliance and to support the fleet overhaul activities. The jumper systems which are bespoken to the Metropolitan line fleet, are used to electronically link adjacent cars, enabling seamless and integrated transfer of power and communication signals throughout the train. They have not been replaced since the fleet's introduction, approximately 16 years ago, hence are now due for overhaul in line with the train maintenance regime. The scope comprises both parts and labour services
