***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Services - Research & Insights DPS - RM6126 Brief Overview of the Requirement Initiated in 2010, the Size & Health study is the UK's definitive evidence base for the space sector. It is used to: - Assess the sector's scale and vitality. - Inform industry and government activity and priorities. - Input into the formulation of UK space policy. - Track progress towards policy objectives, such as those set out in the National Space Strategy (NSS) The primary aim of this wave is to analyse key metrics for the 2023/24 financial year, as outlined in Table 1, with the exception of investment metrics, which will be assessed for the calendar year 2025. This wave will continue the general format and structure of previous iterations, using a shorter survey to collect updated data on a reduced set of metrics. This approach supports continuity in the time series, helps prevent further data ageing, and may improve data quality by reducing respondent burden. The selected metrics represent those most frequently used by the widest range of stakeholders and are therefore considered critical for inclusion in this light-touch wave.
