YPO are looking for Suppliers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement following a Competitive Tendering Procedure for the supply of Winter Maintenance Products and Services to the public sector. This Framework is designed to meet the needs of YPO and Other Contracting Authorities.
The supply of Brown Rock Salt in 6mm and 10mm Agricultural BY-Product Additives in delivery sizes of 20 tonne at a minimum
The supply of White De-Icing Salt in varying delivery quantities: 10 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper OR Rigid vehicle: 20 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper OR Rigid vehicle: 28 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper
The successful suppliers will design, supply, install, and maintain salt storage building systems such as but not limited to: • Domes • Barns • Sheds Scope of Service: Suppliers must provide turnkey solutions, including site preparation, structural installation, and ongoing maintenance where required. Suppliers must ensure compliance with building regulations, structural integrity standards, and health & safety requirements.
The supply and installation of liquid holding tanks; Training of Operators; Repairs to Saturators and the servicing and Maintenance of Saturators
The successful suppliers will work with YPO to develop their best offering for the educational, healthcare, local authority, and wider public sector customer base. Suppliers must be able to provide a minimum of 66% of the following services as a mandatory requirement: • Snow Clearing Services (including Labour and Vehicles) • Gritting Services • Grounds Maintenance Services • Tree Maintenance Services • Daily Electronic Reporting Flexibility of Service Delivery: • Suppliers must offer options for full-service provision (labour and vehicles) and labour-only provision where councils or customers provide their own vehicles but require qualified operatives to drive them.
