Cotswold District Council is looking to replace the current pay and display machines as they are nearing end of life. There are 15 , off-street car parks across the district with 31 Metric pay and display machines. This tender is for the purchase of 31 new machines with contactless as the only permitted payment method. There is no requirement to record vehicle registration numbers. All machines are currently mains powered however the Authority would like to consider the option of moving to alternative power supplies, therefore the requirement is split in to two types of machines. Mains powered machines Alternative powered Machines However, the Authority reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of Mains powered machines only Alternative powered Machines only Mixture of the above. Please note that this is at the sole discretion of the Authority. (Maintenance Options) Each of the 31 machines, regardless of type, will require a full maintenance provision. The maintenance element of this ITT is divided into three LOTS. Please see section 5 for further details. All Tenderer's must submit maintenance pricing for each of the three defined LOTS. Each LOT will be evaluated separately in accordance with the Assessment Criteria set out in Part A – Section 3, point 2 and on the basis of Most Advantageous Tender (MAT). The Authority intends to award the same, i.e. one maintenance option for all 31 machines and the preferred maintenance option is at the sole discretion of the Authority.
