Technical - 40% Commercial - 60%
Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced training providers for the delivery of high‑quality generic training courses to support the continued professional development of Staff and Associate Specialist (SAS) doctors across Wales. The contract will include the delivery of programmes in key development areas such as conflict resolution, AI in medicine, active bystander training, leadership and management, advanced communication skills, medical ethics and law, making a business case, and wellbeing and self‑compassion. These courses are intended to equip SAS doctors with the knowledge, competencies and professional skills required to support their career progression—particularly in working towards eligibility for the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register and future consultant‑level roles within NHS Wales.
