CBC High Speed and High-Risk Road Sweeping Services

Description

1.0.1. Crawley Borough Council (the Council) invites tenders for the provision of manned mechanical sweeping service of the high speed roads within the Crawley Borough as set out in these documents. 1.0.2. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on Monday 3 November 2025 at 00:0 hours. The Contract will be awarded for a period of 5 years until 2 November 2030, with an option to extend for a further 2 year period subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council. 1.0.3. The Council is procuring this contract following the Open Procedure under the UK Procurement Act 2023 (and its supporting Regulations) and the Council's Procurement Code. The Council will be awarding one Contract for the provision of all services detailed in the Specification. 1.0.4. The Council is seeking to contract with an organisation that will manage the Services to the highest levels of satisfaction, professional standards and cost effectiveness. The Contractor will be expected to deliver improvements to service delivery and value for money over the life of the contract. 1.0.5.
