As of 1st April 2025, workplaces in England must separate their waste before its collected. This includes any waste produced by employees, customers of visitors. The legislation details; You must collect food waste, even if the workplace does not serve food or have a kitchen. You must always separate dry recyclable materials (plastic, metal, glass, paper and card) food waste and non-recyclable waste (also called residual waste). We currently do not have this capacity to carry this service in-house. Therefore, we are going to engage with the awarded supplier as they currently carry out this functionality for School Catering.
