The Scope of works is detailed within the GISR Document prepared by the Designers Geotechnical Agent, JNP Group for the preliminary Design Layout for the A62 Cooper Bridge Improvement Scheme. The Ground Investigation is proposed throughout the improvement area, which includes works within the highway and third-party land. Access rights, including restrictions on activities will be arranged by Kirklees Council Project Management Team. Access routes to third party land will be through the system of existing Field Gates, and where necessary, advanced works will be arranged by Kirklees Council to provide temporary access to manage level differences and create openings where none currently exist to specific areas. The proposals include access to and works within sensitive areas. These include trees Protected by Tree Preservation Orders, Arboricultural Limitations, Environment Limitations and in part, the works immediately adjacent to an Active Watercourse. The Scheme spans two Highway Authority Boundaries. Kirklees Council and Calderdale Council. All correspondence regarding the Ground Investigation delivery will be via Kirklees Council. Any permits or approvals necessary to undertake the works will be managed through Kirklees Council. A plan showing the Highway Boundary Is included within the supporting information
