PSSC Stage 2 - Works Contract Corporation Bridge

Description

Following completion of Work Stream 1 the Professional Services Requirements performed under the PSSC, the Employer has entered into the Work Stream 2 contract for completion of the remaining works associated with the structure to be completed. The redacted information includes the contract value. This has been assessed as commercially sensitive under Section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Clause 94 of the Procurement Act 2023. Disclosure would be likely to prejudice the Council's commercial interests in relation to ongoing exit work associated with the previous contract. Publishing the value at this stage could adversely affect the ongoing transition and negotiations, potentially impacting the Council's ability to secure best value for the public. Therefore, in the public interest, the contract value will remain confidential until the exit process is complete and it is appropriate to release this information.
