Provision of complex scheduling software that enables booking, cancellation, notification into clinics, secure collection of patient data and booking of outpatient clinics and generation of reports. The software is closely integrated into the incumbent IMS MAXIMS Preview PAS (Patient Administration System) used at Homerton, enabling seamless communication to and from the PAS, including the ability for patients to interrogate their test results, and expedite making further bookings, where necessary. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract is being award under Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Direct Award Process A. Place of business of the provider whom an award is to be made is Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Homerton Row, London E9 6SR. Key Criteria: Quality and Innovation Mikkom mCB is designed to streamline and expedite patient booking and results review within the Sexual Health Department by digitalising processes such as appointments, test results, treatments, and partner notifications. By going fully paperless, it enhances efficiency, reduces waiting times, and empowers patients to take control of their own care. Value Mikkom mCB not only enhances patient care but also ensures cost-effectiveness by providing a solution that fits within the available budget. By offering both the IT system and ongoing support, the provider ensures that the Sexual Health Department has a reliable, well-maintained system that meets its operational needs. Integration, Collaboration, Service Sustainability, Mikkom mCB is developed in collaboration with key health authorities, including the Department of Health and UK Health Security Agency. This ensures that the system aligns with national standards and enables services to capture, report, and act on mandatory data sets efficiently. Improving Access Mikkom mCB with its close integration to the incumbent PAS system, enhances patient access and autonomy by offering online appointment booking, STI test management, and results tracking. This comprehensive digital approach provides patients with greater flexibility in managing their medical conditions and treatments, ultimately improving their healthcare experience. Social Value Mikkom mCB is Cyber Essentials and DSPT certified, as required by the UK Government and NHS Digital. Additionally, the systems meet internal NHS standards, such as DTAC, Information Governance and Caldicott standards. Such certification ensures that the system meets strict security and privacy requirements, protecting patient data while complying with national and international regulations and be able to meet the health and wellbeing needs of City and Hackney residents.
