Stockton Borough Council have re-procured the Social Care Research and Information Tool, on behalf of the 12 NEPO authorities, which is an externally hosted on-line research and information tool, to support Adult and Children's social care and social workers in respect of professional standards, legislation and professional registrations standards and requirements. The tool will assist professionals working within these fields delivering frontline services and will have the functionality to 'horizon scan' for key items to be addressed, in respect of changes to legislation, guidance, best practice or any other relevant subject matters within the scope of information provided. Stockton's Adult Social Care Services will also be able to regularly enhance and inform the content of available information within the tool and will have the ability to map pathways and links to internal policies, procedures and newsletters as well as developing personalised, bespoke pages informed by themes/ key learning points that we want to target within the workforce. Stockton has agreed to purchase Band 6 - Unlimited Licences for Adults for Community Care Inform websites, whilst work is undertaken to develop the usage of the tool to its full capacity. In line with the terms of the Framework Agreement, this contract will be awarded via a Direct Award.
