DCC is seeking to engage with a single supplier to deliver/co-ordinate both lots of training on behalf of Devon Public Health: Lot 1 - Connect 5; including Youth Connect 5 (or equivalent programme) Lot 2 - Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) We are looking to commission a single contract, with either one provider delivering both elements or one lead provider,? to manage the proposed training offer.
Connect 5 is a three-part programme undertaken in 3 modules, enabling organisations and individuals to identify the level of mental health and wellbeing training required for their needs.
ASIST provides participants with practical skills and knowledge to effectively recognise those who may be at risk of suicide, conduct a suicide prevention intervention, and develop a safety plan with the person to connect them to further support.
