Note: The cleaning of the spaces within the schools will need to take into account the Lettings Schedules set out for each school. The successful Supplier will be required to work around the Lettings times and schedules to ensure the space is clean for the following day. The Trust’s Safeguarding Policy sets out that during the recruitment process, all prospective cleaning staff must show their full employment history before a role in the school can be given. The supplier shall establish effective management and operational level communication systems at all levels regarding the cleaning service with the Client. In addition, the provider will also be responsible for all legal, and health and safety requirements in delivering the services. The Contract will allow for the purchase of cleaning consumables and equipment and point-of-use consumables and bin liners to support the delivery of the cleaning services as per below: The list of consumables will be: Toilet paper Hand soap Handtowels Dishwasher tablets Washing up liquid Refer to Attachment 5 Workforce Data for TUPE data – There is no LGPS. Further information on the Client’s requirements can be found at Attachment 1a Specification and Attachment 1b Client Data. The Contract period will be for 3 years initially, with the option to extend for two further one-year periods at the discretion of the Client.
