Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) manages a large number of buildings (including offices, stores, workshops, deer larders and visitor provisions) across Scotland. FLS has a requirement to establish a framework agreement with external contractors to maintain its buildings to a safe and legally compliant condition as well as providing upgrades and improvements. The duration of the framework agreement will be 4 years with no optional extension periods. FLS will be appointing a maximum of 3 contractors to each Lot. The successful contractors awarded to the framework agreement must provide all necessary trades, either directly or via the use of subcontractors to complete the works as required. Works procured through these frameworks requires a variety of trades which may include: plumber, heating engineer, joiner, roofer, builder, labourer, electrician, groundworker (including mechanical plant), painter and decorator, plasterer, scaffolder, flooring (vinyl, tiles, carpet etc.), blacksmith, mechanical engineer.
