Framework agreement

Description

South Tyneside Council Housing Services, Property Services and Asset Management "in house" labour team, deliver heating installations and associated works to properties within South Tyneside. Where South Tyneside Council cannot deliver the requirements of the programme, we are looking to engage the services of a contractor to deliver the shortfall in heating installations and associated works. The works involve the replacement of full systems, boiler only installations with upgrades to existing systems, radiator installations (whole house and one off's) together with all associated builders works, testing and certification. The contract will commence once the tender process has been completed, evaluated and authorised by South Tyneside Council cabinet. The framework will be for a 24-month period with the possibility for a further 2x 12-month extension periods. South Tyneside Council cannot guarantee the volume and value of works across the duration of the contract. STC will recommend engaging the services of the number 1 ranked tenderer to complete the identified works and the number 2 ranked tenderer will be held in reserve.
