Please note that this is not an invitation to tender. Rushcliffe Borough Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise, with the aim of providing information to and requesting feedback from the Hybrid Mail industry, to gain financial efficiencies from the use of the services. The Council is aiming to improve on its existing service. The Council is also keen to explore options to expand the use of hybrid mail services across the council with an overall aim of gaining financial efficiencies from service. The Council is especially keen to explore: • Processes that deliver an improved returned mail processing • Opportunities for the expansion of service across other areas of the council • Realise improved efficiencies for Council through digital delivery The aim of this soft market testing exercise is: • For the Council to gain a better understanding of the providers currently operating in the market; • To deliver Value for Money and service efficiencies for the Council and reduce costs; • To explore the use of technology through digital delivery; • To explore environmental benefits available through the delivery of the contract; • To assist the Council in developing appropriate procurement documentation; Rushcliffe Borough Council is intending to seek the same functionality; however, the following items are not in scope: • Recipient ability to respond electronically. • Sending of mail via SMS.
