The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services in respect of interpretation consultancy to work with the project team and local communities to design an interpretation plan for Newark Castle and Newark Castle Gardens, for submission with a Round Two National Lottery Grants for Heritage funding application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Should the Round Two application be successful the consultant will be required to undertake the delivery phase of the project, working with local communities to co-create elements as identified by the plan. The aims of this contract are: - To create a nationally significant visitor offer through excellent interpretation within the castle buildings and within the castle grounds - To involve local communities in co-creating and co-producing interpretation - To create external interpretation that works with the landscaping and lighting plans - To create accessible, relevant interpretation throughout the castle buildings - To create interpretation that is experiential, interactive, allows individual agency, and is enjoyable for participants
