Eastlands office building is situated on the junction between London Road and New Road, a short distance from the Council Offices and Town Centre. The property was constructed in the mid 1990's,and is a steel frame, brickwork building with an artificial slate covered pitch roof and consists of a 2-storey office building of approximately 2000M² with ground floor office areas which includes a main reception link building which also accommodates circulation areas and stairs leading to the first floor of the main block. In addition, there is a smaller block located to the right-hand side of the building when viewed from the London Road entrance to the property. The proposed works are for stripping out, removal and disposal of all redundant plant and equipment, which shall include the existing modular boilers and associated pipework, pumps, and controls. Together with the supply and installation of new condensing boilers, the supply and installation of the new pumps with inverter drives and all associated pipework alterations, new pipework insulation, and all alterations necessary to the associated controls systems.
