Description

The Works comprise:\r C2-6\r • Construction of a combined pedestrian cycle bridge with a clear span of 33m over the River Stour with 1 in 20 gradient approach ramps\r • 1.7km of 3m wide surfaced path connecting new bridge crossing to Christchurch Road\r • New toucan crossing to be installed over Christchurch Road; and\r • Widening of 250m of existing shared path on northern side of Christchurch Road\r \r Throop Nature Park\r • 1.1km of new paths, a combination of shared paths and footpaths\r • New informal 20 space car park with EV charge points and associated new access from Taylor Drive\r • Uncontrolled pedestrian crossing to Taylor Drive and carriageway markings\r • New fencing and gates\r • Entrance and wayfinding signage installation\r • Street furniture installation - cycle stands, seats, dog bins, bollards, height barrier Additional information: Further Competition via Hampshire County Council (HCC) Generation 4 Lot 2 (GEN4-2)
