Hook Parish Council is looking to appoint an experienced and reliable festive light contractor based within a reasonable distance of Hook in Hampshire. Hook Parish Council have been fortunate to have previously owned all their festive lights but are now looking for a contractor to provide a full rental option and would strongly advise interested contractors to view the festive lights in place this year throughout the village centre with a view to submit a detailed tender of what they could offer if they were successful in winning the contract. Companies who are shortlisted will be invited to present their competitively priced proposal to the Environment and Community Committee in February 2023. Hook Parish Council will only consider a company that is able to install and take down all of the rented lights as well providing additional light options for certain trees and displays within the village centre. In the unfortunate case of a motif not working the successful company will be expected to provide a flexible service and aim to have the light repaired within 24 hours. Interested parties must have a proven track record and provide evidence of previous and/or current experience. Applicants must provide at least one relevant reference with the application as well as a copy of a current HERS certificate. The successful applicant will work closely with the Environment and Community Administrator throughout the year, to ensure that licences are completed in a timely manner. Interested parties who meet all the requirements are invited to apply and provide an estimated breakdown of cost per year, with the option to upgrade on light schemes in the future.
