Online Educational Cancer Resource primarily for Primary Care

Description

GatewayC has been funded to date by a combination of revenue streams, including the NHS Vanguard Programme, Health Education England, Cancer Research UK, Cancer Alliance investment, and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. Funding for the core programme of activity is secured until July 2022. After this, without further support, GatewayC's core activities will be unsustainable, and regional developments, which have been extensions of GatewayC, will also be untenable. This proposal is for 2022-23 for sustained funding for the core aspects of GatewayC primary care cancer education portal, developed with funding from Health Education England. This proposal covers: • Continuation and ongoing development of the core aspects of GatewayC including o The online courses o National webinars, o Cancer Conversations o Cancer Keys • Continue piloting migration of GatewayC onto the e-Learning for Healthcare platform • Development of additional 5 modules of online learning
