Gigabit fibre is critical digital infrastructure, providing the connectivity backbone for many vital public, private and voluntary services and helping to power our businesses and local economy as well as sup-porting our Smart Place Programme. \r These works form part of the Boscombe Digital Connectivity pro-gramme, which is funded as part of the Boscombe Towns Fund to support government's Levelling Up agenda. This programme is part of BCP Council's wider Smart Place Programme which has the aim of generating significant local value, creating digital solutions to im-prove the lives of our residents, the vibrancy of our communities and the prospects of our local businesses. \r \r The works include the extension of the fibre installation in Boscombe from: \r • The Crescent to Kings Park \r • Boscombe Precinct to Boscombe Seafront
