Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (the council) currently has over 150 play areas and 14 ball courts throughout the borough and are committed to maintaining them to ensure the equipment is safe and in good working order. The Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to supply both a planned and reactive repair service encompassing all of the play areas and ball courts within the borough. The successful contractor will be capable of repairing all makes and types of play equipment together with surface repairs. The contract will be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a period of two further years (3 + 1+ 1). Introduction Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (the council) currently has over 150 play areas and 14 ball courts throughout the borough and are committed to maintaining them to ensure the equipment is safe and in good working order. This procurement process is being conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, under an Open Procedure. The Council has proposed the following timetable for this Tender process: Dispatch of ITT: Friday 18th November 2022 Questions & Answers: Frid 18th Nov - Weds 5th Jan 2023 Return of Tender: 12.00.00 Wednesday 11th January 2023 Evaluation of Tender: Tuesday 24th Jan 2023 Notification of Contract Award to Tenderers: Thursday 26th January 2023 End of standstill period : Monday 6th February 2023 Contract commencement meeting: TBN The Council reserves the right to change the above timetable and Tenderers will be notified accordingly where there is a change in the timetable. The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
