Mole Valley District Council and Runnymede Borough Council invites tenders for the provision of stray dog collection services as set out in these documents. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 27th May 2025 for Mole Valley District Council and 1st April 2025 for Runnymede Borough Council (both at 00:00 hours). Each Council will be awarding their own Contract for the provision of all services detailed within their own Specification. For Mole Valley District Council, the Contract will be awarded for a time period until 31st March 2028, with an option to extend for a further 2-year period (made up of 2 individual 12 month periods) subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council. Mole Valley District Council has an inter-authority agreement in place with Tandridge District Council. The services provided as part of this contract will service both Tandridge and Mole Valley District Council areas. For Runnymede Borough Council, the Contract will be awarded for a period of 3 years until 31st March 2028, with an option to extend for a further 2-year period (made up of 2 individual 12 month periods) subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council. The tender is split into three lots - Lot 1: Mole Valley and Tandridge District Councils - Lot 2: Runnymede Borough Council - Lot 3: All Councils. Tenderers can bid on lots 1, 2 or 3. The purpose of lot 3 is to investigate if there is any efficiencies for the councils sharing one provider and therefore if you are bidding for this lot, the expectation is that your bid will reflect this.
