Background In May 2023, Liverpool will host the 67th Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. The BBC, together with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), will organise the Contest in consultation with UA: PBC, Ukraine's public broadcaster and last year's winners of the Contest. Culture Liverpool, Liverpool City's Council's award-winning team behind the delivery of European Capital of Culture 2008 and the winning host city bid, is seeking to appoint one company to deliver bar operations within the official Eurovision Village, located at the Pier Head - the city's iconic waterfront location for a ten day period (9 days, 10 evenings). Overview of Requirements Liverpool City Council's Culture Liverpool department is looking for the successful company to work closely in developing a partnership, forming an extension to the Event and Commercial teams to maximise revenue potential. As part of this contract, Liverpool City Council are also seeking both alcohol and soft drinks brand pouring partners. The operator is required to assist with making valuable commercial business connections with drinks brands and making introductions to assist with securing and negotiating official pouring rights as an additional revenue stream as the sole and exclusive bar operator.
