SE1036 - Environmental Sustainability Consultancy - Lot 2

Description

Part 1 - The supplier will carry out a mapping/ consultation exercise with the sector in partnership with Sport Wales and sportscotland which will look to provide us and others in the sector with information on: how advanced each key sport sub-sector is (e.g. NGBs, leisure facilities etc.) with respect to environmental sustainability, where the gaps are, what role they would like to see us playing, what support they need and any best practice that can be shared. This will leverage pre-existing information that has been pulled together. Part 2 - The supplier will provide strategic and coordination support to help us decide suitable next steps including: how we best influence, support and advocate the wider sport sector to address their environmental impact as well as protect the sector by adapting to a future which is going to be increasingly impacted by climate change. Integral to this will be how these plans support and integrate with Uniting the Movement.
