Description

Essex County Council are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our people. We strive to enable the right environment, conditions, and behaviours so individual and organisational wellbeing is embedded in everything we do. The purpose of our Occupational Health provision is to ensure that employees are healthy, safe, and able to perform their duties effectively, while also minimising the risk of work-related injuries and illnesses. Thus, the function of our Occupational Health provision is to assess and monitor the health status of people, identify workplace hazards that may affect employee health and wellbeing, and provide advice and guidance on appropriate interventions to prevent or manage work-related health concerns. Additionally, Occupational Health can provide education and training programs to our people on how to maintain good wellbeing, health, and safety practices in the workplace. We are seeking a provider to deliver our Occupational Health services within ECC as a crucial aspect of our broader wellbeing offer. To achieve this, we require clear and unequivocal advice, guidance and support from Occupational Health services.
