The aim of this project is to improve both the thermal integrity and aesthetic appearance of non-traditional property types via the installation of an external wall insulation system to provide a living life span of 30 years. In addition, there will also be work required to improve the condition of existing brick and concrete built outhouses. The works will comprise: •Internal alterations to existing doors to ensure compliance with the ventilation requirements set out by PAS 2035 Retrofit Surveys; •Installation of an external wall insulation system to the existing building fabric; •Repairs to the existing concrete and timber portions of the structure; •Replacement of external doors and windows; •Flat roof replacement in isolated cases; •Replacement of soffits, fascia's and rainwater goods; •Potential requirement for internal decoration/making good; •Alterations and extension of Electrical and Mechanical installations (internal & external) as a consequence of external wall insulation system installation and to ensure compliance with the requirements set out by PAS 2035 Retrofit Surveys; •Alterations to any external access paths or steps as a consequence of the external wall insulation system installation; •Removal and reconstruction of property porches, lean-to and garage structures; •Repairs to property outhouse walls and roofs; •Compliance with all PAS 2035 directives, including the supply of all associated certification and other documentation required as part of the property handover process.
