Description

Tender route: Open Procedure - Light Touch Student OH Services for the University of Wolverhampton. The Student OH Service will include pre-enrolment screening, pre-placement review and immunisation service for new students and referral services and maintained immunisation service for ongoing students. Other services may be required, including but not limited to; mental health assessment, health surveillance and identification of support that can be offered. It is also a requirement that Students have access to their past records, including immunisation records once they have graduated. The University of Wolverhampton's overarching purpose is to deliver an excellent educational experience to all its undergraduates, post graduate and research degree students, along with those on professional courses. Within the University several courses offered have a Fitness to Train course entry stipulation and furthermore a requirement of immunisation evidencing e.g., Nursing, Paramedic and the faculty is required to evidence good health of its students of which placement activity contributes to their successful course completion. This Contract has recently been covered by an external Occupational Health Service Provider, the current Contractor has confirmed TUPE does not apply to this Contract. The successful Tenderer must evidence accreditation with Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS), which promote a set of standards and a process of accreditation that aims to help to raise the overall standard of care provided by Occupational Health Services. The Service Provider must be able to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and deliver services as described in Schedule 1 - The specification.
