Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration is restoring and repurposing the New River Head industrial heritage site as the national centre for illustration, including a home for Quentin Blake's archive. We have recently been awarded a Development Grant by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (also known as the Heritage Fund or NLHF). This will fund a programme of work to develop our understanding of costs, resources, timeline and audience needs, enabling us to develop our application to apply for a full grant of £2.5million towards the project. We are looking for a brilliant person or consultancy to consult with our local stakeholders on the design, use and management of New River Head's outdoor spaces and create a costed planting, play and furniture scheme. They will identify future partners for co-creation and co-management and develop a plan for management and maintenance. Please download the Job Brief from our website for more details on the role, what we are looking for and how to apply: https://www.qbcentre.org.uk/landscaping-and-community-gardens-consultant If you have any queries, please email us [email protected].
