*******Call for Expressions of Interest ******* The International Maritime Security Operations Team (IMSOT), part of the Maritime Operations Division within the Department for Transport, invites proposals for the design and delivery of specialist Recognition of Firearms and Explosives (RFX) training to support capacity development activities on the international Maritime Security Strategic Engagement and Training (MSSET) programme. The training will be delivered to national and port level authorities in the priority countries on the MSSET programme. The contract will run until the end of FY 2025. Capacity development training is a core activity of the International Maritime Security Operations Team (IMSOT) to support the development and appropriate implementation of a robust security compliance framework at the national and port facility level to protect against terrorist threat to UK interest in the programme's priority countries. The trainer will have proven experience of delivering RFX training overseas and evidence of training capability on the range of topics that can be delivered on maritime security. *******How to Respond ******* Suppliers must formally register an interest in this opportunity before 17:00, Friday 2nd June 2023 in order to be eligible for the eventual award of this contract.
