The Home Independence Service provides intensive short term home care to approximately eighty clients distributed throughout the county. Many clients receive multiple visits throughout the day. The service operates every day of the year between the hours of 700 and 2200 out of hours support being provided in emergencies. The Home Independence Service is a fast paced and ever adapting to the needs of the service users and their families. As such they require a rostering tool which can plan and triage service users to the most appropriate care worker. The software must also accommodate the workers work patterns traffic weather updates live road and travel updates. This will be an automated system where possible.\r \r Buckinghamshire Adult Social Care requires a rostering system that can be used to\r \r Schedule and manage care calls\r Monitor care worker capacity, work patterns and training requirements\r Create and record client information, notes, contact information etc. so that a care worker can refer to them.\r Record and store client care notes after visits\r Monitor lone worker locations and safety including emergency response functions i.e. worker down functionality\r Report and record trends in data for audit and corporate returns\r Include a remote working App for carers to use when carry out care calls\r Fully hosted, web based service \r \r In order to comply with the Public contract regulations PCR2015 and the Councils own procedure rules a call for further competition has been run under the CCS Data and Application Solutions Framework RM3821.
