This contract has been established for the provision of support to the authority in relation to emergency coastal works at Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The authority will call off services from this contract as required, with the exact Scope of work being agreed in advance by the Parties on a task-by-task basis. Payment will be on a Time Charge basis. Services required may include, but is not limited to: 1. Provide commercial management support. e.g. cost estimates and budget reviews and support contract administration, assessment and management activities. 2. QS support: a. Scrutiny of value for money, market testing, open book cost auditing and input into procurement and contracting strategies. b. Review and manage payment requests/assessments. c. Review Tender/Quote cost submissions. d. Review Contractual Compensation Events within contractual timescales. e. General contract management support to project teams as required. 3. Support in producing funding Business Case: a. Central Government funding from Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) following the processes set out within the Green Book and FCERM Appraisal Guidance. Particularly linked to the Financial case. b. Other identified funding sources, which will have their own funding criteria. 4. General commercial, cost and quantity advice and support to the project team in delivery of the works. The authority has used the South Coastal Group and SCOPAC framework agreement for the provision of Coastal, Flood and Infrastructure Professional Services. Find a Tender reference: 2021/S 000-011304
