Swale Borough Council is inviting Expressions of Interest to quote for Swale Borough Council Tree condition survey. The contract will involve tree condition survey of the trees within its Parks, Open Spaces, Country Parks, Community Woodlands and Closed Churchyards. The survey will identify key features, defects, CAVAT value, remedial works and work schedule. We have 5214 stand alone trees across Swale split across the three major towns Sheerness 1553, Sittingbourne 2286, Faversham 1375, we have 5 core woodlands which amass approximately 166554 grouped trees. All recording should be accessible on a tree management software that includes council access and licences over a five year period. The council currently uses My Trees supplied by Tim Moya associates, continued use of this software would need to be procured externally and included within costs however the use of new software is also welcomed. The contract shall commence on 4 September 2023 and terminate on 3 Sepember 2028. The council may extend the opportunity for a further 12 Months. The bidder who submits the Most Economically Advantageous quotation will be awarded the contract. Expressions of Interest and the Invitation to Request for Quotation RFQ document must be submitted on the Council's e-tendering portal. The closing date for submission of Expressions of Interest and the closing date for the RFQ is 03 July 2023 at 16:00Hrs.
